Talkin' to strangers?

There's an incredible story behind this shot.

Well it's some unwritten rule that all photographers have to start talking to each other, even if they don't know each other. They're just obligated to start talking about photography. So we saw this one guy with a nice outfit (photography outfit I mean, like camera/lens combo), and we began talking immediately as expected. He seemed to have a lot to say, spoke at maybe 500 wps (words per second), and had a really strange voice. Now Mark immediately didn't like this guy for the aforementioned reasons. I was still talking to this guy when I saw Mark on the phone with who knows, and I took a quick snap of him, came out to this shot obviously. After about a minute, we finish the conversation and I walk back over to Mark who starts to scream at me.

"What the hell were you doing! I couldn't stand that guy. Didn't your parents ever teach you not to talk to strangers?", said Mark. "I was calling you to tell you to get the hell away from that guy."

The guy came back over to us five minutes later, saw Mark's $8k camera, and went ballistic.

"Jeez! That's one hell of a camera! Which one is that?", said the guy with such enthusiasm.

Mark, totally ignoring the guy's presence, just rotated his camera around so he could see the name. Mark had the most classic expression of disgust, and I immediately burst into laughter on the spot. It was one of those things that you laughed so hard that you didn't know when you were going to stop. You thought about the moment again, and then laughed, continuously.

Okay, maybe it was one of those "you had to be there" stories, but I love how it fits perfectly with this shot while totally by accident.
